Solve It With Money

I’ll never forget the day I first heard this:

‘It’s not a problem if you can solve it with money’

Sounds a little mercenary at first, doesn’t it?

But I’ve realized that it’s actually just brilliant. Simple. Perfectly true. It’s a great filter when deciding if this current challenge really matters - or requires more thought.

Some things just can’t be fixed with money. Those are the big things. Like cancer and divorce or even death itself. A friend of a friend died this week at a way-too-young age. Can’t fix that.

That thing you are worrying over and over about and you’re afraid of? Just write the check and do it. Pay the bill. Ship it. Take the trip. Live the day. Dream bigger. Go now.

So, if you can fix it with money, just fix it. Stop thinking and go.
