Patron Saint of Ireland

Saint Patrick was kidnapped by pirates from his home in England when he was a young boy. That’s how he first got to Ireland. He subsequently lived in slavery for many years. All of that happened before he began his life of doing all the ‘saintly stuff’. (psst… all those bad things formed him into who he was). During his amazing adult life, he performed many miracles! (I want to do that. How bout you?)

He was born in (approximately) 385 AD. His birthday is not exactly known but he supposedly died on March 17th in 461 AD (thus the celebration).

As with most holidays, we do lots of celebrating but this incredible Godly man we’re celebrating has been lost at the bottom of a green glass :)
