Page Break

you decide

I like to make ‘page breaks’ in time. I like to take advantage of the key time breaks (month/quarter/year) to just pause and pivot. Business. Personal. All of life.

I know that’s not a new idea, but do you really do it for yourself? It doesn’t count if some boss made you do it. That’s different.

Today is the last day of June and it’s also the end of the first half of the year. Time to consider a new 30-day opportunity in July AND a moment to consider and compare the 1st half of the year and the 2nd (upcoming) half of the year.

Can you make an awesome change to one or two things starting tomorrow? Or will the next 180 days look kinda just like the previous?

Like everything else, this could seem like a chore or it can be a wonderful gift. Even 20 minutes of dedicated thinking on this today might have a massive impact on you and on your world this year.

Here’s a set of questions you could ask yourself. It will be WAY more powerful if you stop and really write down the answers.

Here goes:

  • What is ONE thing that I insist on completing in July?

  • What is my definition of success? What is a ‘win’ for July etc

  • What is one (slightly bigger) thing that I will execute by December 31?

  • How will life be different when I accomplish that?

  • What have I been thinking about that I will now purposefully stop thinking about?

  • How can I think differently on July 1st (starting tomorrow)?

  • Who can I love more?

  • What is one choice that I make daily that I will now make differently?

  • Where will I travel next and what are the actual dates?

The big one… What would I do if money didn’t matter and fear was NOT allowed in? If you were supremely unaware of risk, what would you do?

psst… Do that.
