It's Late

and it's fine

This email is late. I had an email scheduled for this morning but for the first time in nearly 6 months of writing, it was accidentally set to be sent at the wrong time of day (6 hours later).

Here’s my theory. I’m pretty sure that happened because I wrote it while in a very joyful zone - 6 time zones away in Hawaii - and that’s what the software saw as 6am.

Do things often go wrong in your world like that?

What do you do when that happens?

Let’s look for the gift of the moment. Let’s enjoy the beauty of today. Let’s thank Him for the joyful interrupt. Let’s wonder what great thing might come of this seemingly random change of schedule.

Or, on second thought, we could get pissed, or be afraid, or feel guilty or blame the software gods.

Which one of those will you do today?

Good (belated) morning y’all!
