Jesus GPS

When you get in the car to drive to an unknown destination, you plug the address in your phone and then you blindly follow the voice on the speakers, one turn at a time until you get where you’re going. 99 times out of 100, you get to exactly where you needed to be without any effort to control the process at all.

It occurred to me recently that Jesus is the ultimate turn-by-turn GPS. He tells me exactly which turn to take next (today) and if I just trust and follow, I will get to exactly the right place.

But that’s not what I do. I question him about the 2nd turn, the 3rd turn and well, the entire freakin’ route. I gotta know the whole plan.

Of course, that’s not his deal.

It’s just one turn at a time.
