The Greatest Day Ever (again)

Kairos Moments

Today is my 55th Birthday!

I’ve been writing this for a while. It’s been rolling around in my head and brewing in the background. I’ve given 55 more thought and more weight than most other birthdays. God seems to be pressing this one more. It feels like a turning point. However, my hope is to deliver something of value to you from these 2 minutes vs focusing on ‘my’ day.

That’s what is different at 55. My focus is on what value I can bring to you.

All that matters is what I can give to the world while I’m here.

I wish I understood that so much more at 25 and 35 and 45 (and 54).

Certain birthdays have significance for us because they represent specific turning points in life. 50 didn’t matter as much to me but 55 definitely does. 30 might be a big huge deal for you. Others could not care less about that one. As it turned out, 30 was a massive turning point for me in hindsight. Interestingly, I had no idea that was true until some years after the fact. That day left its mark on me. The experience of that moment had an impact on who I’ve become.

What if we could give more weight to every single day?

What if the value we bring on Tuesday is even more useful than Monday (today)?

Here’s to the day! I hope it’s amazing for you.
