God Prompts

Sometimes simple question prayers are the best. I think most people say ‘I prayed about this’ when what they mean is ‘I spent some cycles worrying and thinking about this’. Why not just really ask Him? He is ‘Real Intelligence’. Best of all, you don’t even have to get the prompt right. It only needs to end in a quesiton mark.

With a simple query you can have the answer in an instant (ok maybe it’s not always that simple). He does, in fact, have the answer. Stop trying to use your own power to find the solution. Just ask Him. What do you have to lose?

Throw up a 3 words prayer that ends in a squiggle. That’s a world apart from ‘God give me ________’

Questions that are spoken in your everyday voice to a close friend that you can’t currently see with your human eyes. Prayers said to a God that’s above and beyond all the noise in our world. He’s so far above it yet He chooses to roll His sleeves up and hang out in the mud with me. It’s super muddy over here y’all. But He’s good with it somehow.

He’s in it with you today. Why not just ask Him?

God how do I:

• Take the very next step?

• Understand what you want me to do?

• Get through this day?

• Put down this habit (or addiction)?

• Solve this problem?

• Let go of this worry?

• Find more of your peace?

• Get the courage to walk in there and quit?

• Find my lost eyeglasses?

• Forgive them?

• Forgive them more?
