Did God Ask Me To Do This?

We’ve all heard this bit of scripture even if we’ve rarely opened a bible

 ‘Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven’

Like so much of the bible, this seems a little hard to translate into everyday life. But asking God straightforward questions every day can make it way more simple. I love this one…

‘God, did you ask me to do this? Or did I just ask myself?’

Just by asking that question we are testing ‘is this my will or His will’?

Even by being willing to ask might be the beginning of new surrender.
