Filling a Full Cup

Imagine this conversation with God…

Me: God, I want you to lead my every move and take control of my life. Please help me to do your will.

God: Matt, your life is too full of stuff and activities and busyness. What time and space do you have available for me to redirect on my agenda to accomplish my objectives?

Me: Gosh, I’m kinda slammed until next week. Can we schedule for like Tuesday?

God: It’s cool. I’ll wait. You do you man.

This was inspired by a quote I heard recently. It went something like “God can’t fill a cup that’s already full”. You’re too busy. I’m too busy. Our lives are too busy. It takes a massive effort to unbusy.
