He Calls Us To How

Everyone always wants to know ‘what does God want me to do?’

While He might give you a really specific what, He seems to be way more interested in the how and the why.

The how comes from ‘who did you serve along the way’ and what’s happening in your heart as you go.

The why is asking what’s your motive? Why did you do it?

I think it could be basket weaving or nuclear fission. Either way is mostly fine with God. He wants to know more about how you explored nuclear fission while also caring for the humans all around you. He wants to know that your reason for basket weaving is your love for baskets and your love for those who need and want the baskets from the weaver.
