Building In The Dark

Delayed Gratificaiton

The world keeps telling you to go faster and get it done. I lean that way personally A LOT. I’m famous for a ‘ready, fire, aim’ mentality.

But sometimes it’s more important to build slowly and completely in the dark before the launch. It’s ok to live in the tension between ‘gotta go’ and ‘it’s not ready’. Sometimes you need to cook it all the way first (only to medium rare though please). Sometimes

Did we bake in the quality? The customer experience? The full value?

Are we clear on the marketing message? Do we know enough about the customer journey after the sale?

Maybe take just one more look.
