1000 Asks

Part of God’s ‘thing’ seems to be the desire for us to ask him again and again and again. Ask Him 1000 times for the same thing. That process is doing some things in us as much as it might also unlock the actual thing we’re asking from God.

I think there are lots of different things happening all at once in the asking:

• It builds the relationship if we keep coming back daily.

• Of course, the virtue of patience is baked into everything wonderful

• If it’s a big enough ask, it’s probably not a tomorrow thing.

• If we really really want it, we’ll come asking over and over

If He does or He doesn’t, asking 1000 times means we got 1000 inches closer to Him and that’s the point of it all anyway.
